Maintenance Unit

Maintenance Unit plays a very important role in the development of the Mengly J. Quach Education. Nowadays, it oversees all maintenance of civil work, MEP work and other facilities of all buildings and campuses to provide students, parents and staff with good quality, safety, comfort and aesthetic of the building. Moreover, CBMD provides its services with skills and professionalism to help the company reach its mission and vision and its continuity. One building maintenance staff is assigned to stand by at each building to solve any pop up issue of each building to ensure smooth operation. All requests for maintenance forms are solved on time as a team.

Our main duties and job responsibilities 

Its main responsibility is to maintain and install both existing and new equipment as well as other building facilities as other departments and units have requested. Its services are as follows:

Air Conditioner: Maintain, install and clean

Plumbing system: Maintain and install bathroom facilities, sewage system, water tanks, motor pump…etc.

Generator: Maintain and do weekly checklist

Electrical system: Maintain and fix electrical devices, sub distribution board, and install new system

Elevator: Cooperate with outsource company to maintain monthly

Our working environment

As Maintenance staff, our working environment at the Mengly J. Quach Education  requires  the  following  physical  demands: significant lifting, carrying, pushing, and/or pulling; some climbing and balancing; some stooping, kneeling, crouching, and/or crawling; and significant fine finger dexterity. Generally our job requires 33% sitting, 33% walking, and 34% standing. As a member of Campus and Building Maintenance, our job is performed under minimal temperature variations and under conditions with some exposure to risk of injury and/or illness.

Housekeeping Unit

Housekeeping Unit actively contributes to the development of the Mengly J. Quach Education. Currently, this unit is playing a very important role in maintaining school materials and facilities to bring the best quality and high standard of cleanliness, hygiene, safety, and beauty of the company. We truly believe that our team will provide a clean, comfortable and restful working and learning environment for our teachers, staff and students. In addition, the Housekeeping Unit has a team to grow all kinds of flowers and plants to decorate every school building, lobby, playground, hallway, balcony, and office of the Mengly J. Quach Education. Our team also works on spraying mosquitos every weekend and all kinds of insects to protect from the diseases destruction and. We also provide deep cleaning service as needed.

Our members are in good physical condition as we need to lift heavy things or furniture for cleaning or renovation purposes. There’s little sitting down on the job, and most housekeepers are on their feet all day.
