Design & Construction Department

Design & Construction plays a major role in the Mengly J. Quach Education to facilitate the construction and renovation of school buildings, offices and other buildings that serve the needs for campus expansion and continuous development of the company. This department is full of skilled team whose designs comply with national and international standards. They design structure and MEP (Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing) with high safety and technical standards. D&C also has strong and creative architect team whose designs mainly focus on creativity, attraction, safety, environmental protection in compliance to their principle such as time, quality and affordable price. In addition, D&C also plays an important role in coordinating between project owners and construction partners by providing specific project information from project owners to their partners.

Design & Construction provides the following services:

Architectural Section

• Analyze, design and extend security functions both inside and outside of the building
• Prepare a detailed description of the materials
• Select the materials according to the need of design and cost saving
• Prepare tender documents for bidding
• Cooperate with other departments to adjust the design
• Check the quality and quantity for construction, etc.

Structure Section

• Analyzes and calculate the structure of the building
• Supervise and investigate building before renting
• Prepare tender documents for bidding
• Verify the structure design calculation
• Supervise quality and quantity for construction
• Instruct the construction team to work in accordance with the layout and detailed instructions
• Work with the architects to help solve the problem

MEP Section

• Design the mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems for old and new buildings
• Prepare a detailed description of the materials
• Select materials according to the need of design and cost saving
• Prepare tender documents for bidding
• Supervise quality and quantity for MEP works

Quantity survey and Quality control section

• Prepare tender documents for bidding, including volume of the work
• Analyze the cost of the repairs and maintenance
• Manage risks, pricing and price controls
• Prepare a detailed description of the materials
• Work with other section to identify design issues
• Control quantity and quality of the construction
• Supervise and evaluate the quantity and quality at the site
• Prepare documents for construction permit
• Prepare construction contract with other companies

Construction Section

• Manage the sites in compliance to construction safety standards
• Manage building teams to carry out work based on the schedule
• Manage the plan for machinery, equipment and labor force based on the schedule
• Plan and prepare daily, weekly and monthly report
• Coordinate the team during the construction
• Check the quality and quantity for construction
• Monitor and prepare payment to sub-contractors
